For 30 years, I’ve been creating marketing and advertising across a wide spectrum of industries. I’ve worked at ad agencies, built and run internal marketing departments for companies, managed outside advertising firms and run my own full-service marketing agency.
During the time I had my own agency, I was successful in driving sales for my clients by improving their website, digital and traditional ad campaigns, case studies, white papers, videos, brochures and other marketing pieces.
However, I wasn’t seeing the 30%, 50% and higher year-over-year revenue increases I achieved when having the ability to re-engineer and repackage the business so the messaging was focused on the customer instead of the product.
